Dear Friends of Realtime 3D,

I may have mentioned it already: we at the “Society for Lifelong Collaborating” (https://lc-soc-lc.or.at) occasionally use a cloud software named OwnCloud on our vServer.

We use this software to share documents and other files with each other and we use the online calendar that comes with this OwnCloud software.

Now I came to knowledge of a rumour, according to which the providers of OwnCloud are going more commercial, where the software Nextcloud (which is similar to OwnCloud) will remain to be a pure open source approach.

I have to check this. Therefore I will use a few days of my upcoming vacations to look after all this.

I will report about the outcome.
