Dear Friends of Realtime Computer Graphics,

May I take 5 minutes of your time, just to re-capitulate what has happened in the context of this Blog, namely in the context of DIGITS?

• DIGITS is rather a vision than a project.
  • Basically, it is the idea of a transmission protcol for distributed 3D data
  • The idea is to have many contributors who all have the chance to monetize on their ideas and sweat, not only one big supplier like Google, Meta or whatever
• Although the Fiat A project has been officially started, the sub-projects SrrTrains v0.01, simulrr and smuos are more or less “dead”, currently, and wait for their resurrection
• The only thing that is “up and running” (but very slowly), is the “Society for Lifelong Collaboration” (see the page The Society | Area 1.0).
